Have you ever looked at a glass bottle of coke and thought why it is is long? Or bought some cotton pads and wondered what they had those stripes for? Designers of these things are smart people - every detail has some purpose. However, many of us have no idea what the original meaning of those little objects was. 

Did you know that the bottom drawer of your gas stove was designed to store your freshly-cooked meals inside? Or that mugs have those special grooves to drain extra water left after washing? Also, there's a special indicator in your car that you can look at in order to remember right away, which side your gas tank is on. Wow! So many details hidden in quite ordinary things surrounding us!
